Our Worship Service
(Selected Sermons)
Each MMUUF service is unique. We are a lay-led fellowship which means we don't have a paid
pastor. Services are led by members and friends of the fellowship and by invited guest speakers,
and each has it's own flavor. We do have a typical format, but be prepared
because your first Sunday just may be atypical.
A Typical Service
We meet in The MMUUF Meeting House (affectionately known as "The Barn"), our new home on Route 15. The service starts at 9:30 with the ringing of a chime and an introduction by a member of our steering committee.
We light our chalice and share joys and concerns. Children and adults share what's meaningful to them since our last service.
We sing an opening song, led by the Last Minute Choir.
A children's story, skit, or moment of meditation follows.

We sing, or listen to, a second song during the offering.

Following the offering the children leave for their scheduled activities (Religious Education), and the adults settle in.
Our speaker then addresses us. Speakers often leave time at the end for a discussion.
When the service is over, we gather in our greeting hall for coffee and fellowship.
